FW16-17 COLLECTION

Concept: The Collection shown below is been developed from the central theme of "DREAM WORLD". Focus on dream's items such as stars, blue sky and fairytale characters, such as Alice in Wonderland protagonists. Each shoe is been fully designed by me, firstly by hand and then with computer softwares such as Illustrator and Photoshop.

Development: The materials which are been used in this collection are: velvet, matt & vernice leather, Swarovski crystal stars and felt. Calf lining and Margom soles for the sneakers. Heels and boots have both a "monoblocco" wood sole.

​

 

Prototyping: This step is been followed by me and some work partners based in Italy. Each step from the choice of the last, soles, zips, heels etc, in been done in Italy. Prototypes and Production is made in two different Factories in Italy: Calzaturificio Rosina in Porto Sant'Elpidio (for high heels, ballerina, boots etc) and Josephine srl in Civitanova Marche (for sneakers).

Photoshoot: The photoshoot is been taken inside the "Cercle Suédois" of Paris. Historical and exclusive location which hosted many important designer such as Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé. The romanticism of these rooms combined with the grace of the famous Jardin de Tuileries, just in front, built a perfect scenography for this collection.
